Hello fellow donuteers!
We hope you are all enjoying the school holidays.
In this issue of The Daily Donut we’ll be covering the up and coming new beignets, The Local Flour Co and David The Donut Man.
We know you guys are loving our beignets since they launched several weeks ago (for those that missed them they are bite-sized pillows of joy filled with delicious jam or custard).
Next Tuesday we are launching our brand new PBJ beignets filled with real raspberry jam and topped
with deluxe peanut butter glaze and a crunchy layer of house-made peanut brittle.
The initial feedback from the team is that these are so delicious they should be illegal. But there’s really only one way to find out so make sure you swing past next week to try for yourself.
The Local Flour Co.
Over the years, we’ve always sold a small amount of flour to friends, family & customers who were avid home bakers but who couldn’t source high quality local flour at their supermarket.
During the Covid lockdown last year, home-baking increased dramatically and so we teamed up with Sundae Studio and Bear & Wolf Digital to launch The Local Flour Co. as a way to help solve this problem.
Our mission at The Local Flour Co is to help you level-up your home-baking game by shipping the best West Australian flour directly to your door.
If you are a home baker make sure you check it out at: localflourco.com.au.
The Donut Man
You can often hear kids singing out “hey! aren’t you the donut man?” when our founder, David, is seen in his local suburb of Willagee. And so over time he has affectionately become known as David the Donut Man.
David has been running small-scale food and coffee businesses for over 8 years and has learnt plenty along the way.
He has recently established an email newsletter called The Donut Man to share his insights on running a small business and entrepreneurial well-being.

Enjoy your break people and we’ll catchya soon!
